Our first, Keeshond Ch. Torparflickans Zsa Zsa, came to us in 1974. After that, the Keeshond was the one and only breed for us. From Zsa Zsa's first litter (sired by Ch. Wrester of Waakzaam) we kept two puppies, giving our kennel a flying start. The male Colombo, was in 1978, the top winning Keeshond in Scandinavia while his litter sister Cherie became a champion in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Colombo mated Ch. Valsgate Oyster Catcher, who joined us when she was three years old. Their offspring were very successful - one becoming top winning Keeshond, in Sweden, in 1983 with several of the others becoming champions.
In 1985, a grandson to Colombo, Ch. Keestorpets Zirocco was born. He still holds the record as top winning Keeshond in Sweden, having won 8 Best in Group's and Best in Show, under Mr Terry Thorn, in 1987. He also was very successful at stud, siring 20 champions. Two of the most famous being Int. Ch. Keestorpets Destiny, the top winning Keeshond of all times in Norway, and my own Int. Ch. Keestorpets Valparaiso, the top winning Keeshond in Sweden in 1998 and Best Dog at the Swedish Keeshond Club Show in 2000.
In 1988 & 1990 two important Keeshonds from England joined us: Malmeck Victoria from Eve Waters and Vanwall Zandvoort from Doris Purdon. Both took their titles and Zandvoort was twice Best in Show at our, Swedish Club Show. Both of them also produced 10 champions.

In 1998 we imported Deminiac Ode To A Dream, "Sally", from Liz Wogan. She has had two litters. From the first mating to Int. Ch. Keestorpets Yamaha (the top winning Keeshond 1997) we kept a very beautiful bitch Just Another Dream, "Sofie". She has won 8 Best of Breeds and, at 10 months of age, she was Best in Show, at the Norwegian Keeshond Club Show.

Sally's second litter, to Ch. Keestorpets Valparaiso, gave me Sw. Nor. Dk. SV-03 Ch. Keestorpets Knockout. As well as being the top winning Keeshond in 2002 and 2003, he was also Best in Show and Best Mover at our Swedish Keeshond Club Special Show in 2003.
He has also now, at the age of 3 years, won 20 Best of Breeds and is my 17th International Champion. His son, Montalbano, has also been quite successful in the show ring, taking 5 CC's at 5 shows.
The next import from England was Foxifayre Isn't She Lovely, "Foxy", from Beryl Henman. She was Best Puppy at the Club Shows in Sweden and Norway, and as adult she has taken 6 CC's and 3 Best of Breeds. She had her first litter 2003, to my Valparaiso, and a very charming little girl, named Nice Surprise, stayed here.
